On December 19th, Changing Lives will be providing a Christmas meals to individuals in Newcastle in need of a warm place to have a meal, providing company and a place to find support across the winter period.

To extend this generosity beyond just one day, Changing Lives will also distribute food and toiletry parcels, as well as Christmas dinners, to those in our services across England. The meal will be served out of Café 16 at Newcastle Cathedral which is operated by the Oswin Project, a local charity based at HMP Northumberland. If we’re fortunate enough to raise more than we need to provide Christmas meals this festive period, your generosity will continue to make a difference long after the decorations come down. It will help provide

• Essential food parcels for those unable to afford food.
• Cooking equipment enabling people in our services to make more home cooked meals.
• Cooking classes for people in our services to develop their skills not only for cooking but for budgeting too.
• Welcome Household Packs including items such as bedding, kettles, toaster, microwave or air fryers.
• Welcome Toiletry Pack such as shampoo, body wash, sanitary items, or dental hygiene products.
